His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) First Deputy Chairman, General Sports Authority (GSA) Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) President, today issued Edict (5) of 2024, establishing the High Orgnaising Committee of the International School Sport Federation (ISF) U18 Gymnasiade 2024 \u2013 World School Sport Games (ISF Gymnasiade Bahrain 2024), set to be hosted by the kingdom in October this year.<\/p>\n
According to the edict, the committee, which will be directly overseen by HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad, shall be chaired by Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Education Minister. Dr. Abdulrahman Askar, GSA Chief Executive Officer, will be the Deputy Chairman of the panel.<\/p>\n

The Committee shall be responsible for supervising all the necessary procedures for organising the ISF Gymnasiade Bahrain 2024.<\/p>\n
It shall also coordinate, through its chairman, with all governmental and non-governmental bodies concerned with organising the tournament inside and outside the Kingdom.<\/p>\n
The committee shall submit its recommendations directly to HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad for approval to ensure that the tournament is organised perfectly through optimal coordination among all concerned entities.<\/p>\n
