Tenders are invited for Supply of Methyldiethanolamine (MDEA), Diethanolamine (DEA) and Monoethanolamine (MEA) as a solvent for treating the offgas streams and LPG which contain hydrogen sulphide (H2S) and carbonyl sulfide Tender Type: Public Tender Tender Description: Bapco Refining have process units that use methyldiethanolamine (MDEA), diethanolamine (DEA) and monoethanolamine (MEA) as a solvent for treating the offgas streams and LPG which contain hydrogen sulphide (H2S) and carbonyl sulfide (COS, to meet the required specification of the treated gas and LPG as well as to minimize SO2 emission. During the normal operation, amine losses occur due to carry over, leakages, and amine thermal degradation. Therefore, Bapco Refining has to buy MDEA , DEA and MEA on a regular basis to cover for normal consumption and also to cater for any emergency.
