Amit Midha appointed as global CEO of Alat

The Board of Directors of Alat, chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, has appointed Amit Midha as its Global CEO.

Midha brings a wealth of experience from his global leadership roles, including his recent tenure at Dell Technologies where he was instrumental in driving growth across Asia Pacific and Japan, managing a substantial portfolio across over 40 countries.

Alat is poised to drive significant advancements in the technological sector, leveraging Saudi Arabia’s rapid sectoral growth to bolster investment opportunities.

The company aims to empower the private sector and enhance the commercial landscape through innovative business systems and collaborations with leading international technology firms.

Amit Midha, upon his appointment, outlined Alat’s ambitious mission to transform the electronics and advanced industrials sectors globally.

He emphasized the company’s commitment to creating a sustainable manufacturing hub in the Kingdom, utilizing solar, wind, and green hydrogen energy sources.

Midha stressed the importance of leveraging advanced AI technology and Industry 4.0 best practices to enhance business transformation, sustainability, and operational efficiency, with a holistic approach to sustainability across operations, buildings, logistics, and supply chains.
