تأتي “بوابة صنع في البحرين” كركيزة أساسية ضمن رؤية صناعية متكاملة تهدف إلى تعزيز التعاون الصناعي والاقتصادي المشترك، والتركيز على تمكين المصانع والشركات الوطنية التي تقوم بتصنيع المنتج المحلي، تمهيداً لفتح آفاق أوسع تدعم المنتجات الوطنية في الأسواق الإقليمية والدولية وتدعم سلاسل الإمداد الموحدة.
تم إطلاق منصة صنع في البحرين في مايو 2020 كأول منصة وطنية متخصصة تعرض المصانع والشركات البحرينية المصنعة بكافة القطاعات الصناعية ومشتقاتها. وبدورها تقوم المنصة بعرض بروفايل تفصيلي عن كل مصنع منذ تأسيسه وخدماته، وإدراج كتالوج إلكتروني متكامل (اونلاين) يتضمن منتجات المصنع أو الشركة، ليتمكن الموردون في مملكة البحرين وكافة أنحاء الأسواق المجاورة من التعاقد مباشرة مع المصانع والشركات الوطنية.
