HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa inaugurates the Muhammad Bahloul and his wife Fatima Al-Khaja Mosque

Per the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the opening, restoration, and development of 32 mosques belonging to the Sunni and Ja’fari Endowments across the Kingdom’s governorates, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa today inaugurated the Muhammad Bahloul and his wife Fatima Al-Khaja Mosque, the first mosque in Salman City.

HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman highlighted His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s unwavering support to the development and preservation of the Kingdom’s places of worship.

HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman recognised the ongoing support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to develop mosques in all governorates of the Kingdom of Bahrain and to ensure the adoption of modern and Islamic designs in the rebuilding and enhancement of the mosques.

HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman noted the success achieved in building, restoring, and preserving places of worship to date, highlighting the orders of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad within the previous two years.

HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman highlighted the commitment of officials from the Sunni and Ja’fari Endowments to swiftly implement the directives of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to build mosques in cooperation with several authorities and volunteers. HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman wished the officials success in their endeavours to develop the mosques and thanked the volunteers for their donations.

The Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council, His Excellency Shaikh Dr Rashid bin Mohammed Al-Hajri, affirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to preserving and developing places of worship under the leadership of HM the King, supported by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

HE Dr Rashid bin Mohammed extended his gratitude to HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman for his inauguration of the Muhammad Bahloul and his wife Fatima Al-Khaja Mosque. In this regard, HE Dr Rashid bin Mohammed noted that this was the first mosque to be built in Salman City and is a crucial element of the mosque development plan.

The families of Bahloul and Al-Khaja families expressed their gratitude to HM the King and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad for their support and ongoing commitment to building and restoring places of worship across the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as their thanks to HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman for inaugurating the mosque.

The President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA), HE Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, along with a number of senior officials attended the event.
