His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today issued Edict (14) of 2024, amending some provisions of Edict (28) of 2006, regarding the establishment and formation of the National Committee for Civil Emergency Management, based on a proposal by the Minister of Interior, and following the approval of the Cabinet.

Article (I)

The edict stipulates the following:

A new clause, numbered (16), will be added to Article (I) of Edict (28) of 2006 regarding the establishment and formation of the National Committee for Civil Emergency Management, and the remaining clauses of the article will be renumbered accordingly, as follows:

16 – Commander of the Royal Medical Services (RMS) of Bahrain Defence Force Hospitals, representing RMS.

Article (II)

The Minister of Interior shall implement the provisions of this edict, which comes into effect upon its issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
