HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the heads of delegations participating in the preparatory meetings of the Economic and Social Council of the Arab League on the level of the 33rd Arab Summit

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with the heads of delegations participating in the preparatory meetings of the Economic and Social Council of the Arab League on the level of the 33rd Arab Summit, which is being held under the presidency of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

 

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment, led by HM King Hamad bin Isa, to support Arab efforts to enhance comprehensive economic and social integration and coordination to address the changes in the global economy, thereby contributing to achieving economic growth.

 

His Royal Highness underscored the importance of ongoing progress and development across all sectors, particularly the economic and social sectors, to achieve the joint aspirations and visions of forward-thinking Arab leaders.

 

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister welcomed the heads of delegations to the Kingdom and wished them success in achieving the goals and aspirations of the meeting.

 

His Royal Highness stressed that the economy, along with security and fairness, are essential pillars for development.

 

His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of continuing to build on developmental achievements and joint efforts by further strengthening strategic partnerships to achieve the aspirations of Arab countries and their people.

 

For their part, the heads of delegations expressed their gratitude to His Royal Highness for his unwavering commitment and support in advancing collective Arab efforts.

 

The heads of delegations further commended the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain in hosting and organising the 33rd Arab Summit, wishing the Kingdom further progress and development.

 

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and a number of senior officials, also attended the meeting.
