
They also discussed developments in the region and the implications of the continued and unjustified Iranian attacks against the Kingdom of Bahrain, which target infrastructure, civilian facilities, and residential areas. The two sides explored means to enhance joint cooperation and coordination within the United Nations Security Council, in light of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s non-permanent membership and France’s permanent membership, and to continue consultations to address Iran’s threats to regional security and stability, as well as international navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Saeed Abdulkhaliq Saeed, Chief of the Coordination and Follow-up Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
