BNA): Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Deputy Prime Minister, received Saleh bin Nasser Al Jasser, the Saudi Minister of Transport and Logistics.

The meeting was attended by Mohammed bin Thamer Al Kaabi, the Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, and Ibrahim bin Hassan Al Hawaj, the Minister of Works.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasised the importance of continuing to develop the strategic partnership between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia to bolster integration and cooperation, building on the historical relations between the two countries.

Shaikh Khalid highlighted the ongoing support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud for the development of bilateral cooperation.

He also commended the follow-up and support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, for the implementation of joint visions and initiatives.

The Deputy Prime Minister welcomed the Saudi Minister of Transport and Logistics, noting that his visit will boost the exchange of expertise in the field of transportation and infrastructure.
