His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a written message from His Excellency President Nikos Christodoulides of Cyprus.

The message focused on the bilateral relations between the two countries.

Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received the message on behalf of HM the King, during a meeting today with Dr. Andreas Eliades, Ambassador of Cyprus to Bahrain.

The ambassador conveyed the greetings of HE the President to HM the King, as well as his wishes of further progress and prosperity to Bahrain and its people.

The two sides reviewed Bahrain-Cyprus relations and ways to develop them and discussed topics of common interest.

Ambassador Ahmed Ibrahim Al Qurainees, Chief of the European Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was present.
