His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, highlighted the importance of Bahrain Youth Day as an occasion to celebrate the accomplishments of the kingdom’s youth, who are the pride of the nation.

His Highness said the occasion was an opportunity to reflect on Bahrain’s youth initiatives and the progress achieved in this area under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

HH Shaikh Khalid commended the support of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty’s Representative for Humanitarian Affairs and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, highlighting his innovative approach that empowers Bahraini youth to contribute to the kingdom’s development through creativity and innovation.

HH Shaikh Khalid highlighted Bahrain’s efforts in supporting and empowering young people through quality job opportunities, training, and various programmes.

His Highness urged Bahraini youth to continue working on developing their abilities to contribute to the nation’s progress, highlighting their crucial role in shaping the country’s future and present.
