His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, received a cable of congratulations from Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF), on McLaren winning the Formula 1 World Constructors’ Championship and securing first place at the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2024, held at Yas Marina Circuit in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

This marks their first Formula 1 World Constructors’ Championship win in 26 years.

The Commander-in-Chief attributed this achievement to His Majesty the King’s support and patronage, highlighting Bahrain’s global standing and its growing record of accomplishments under HM’s leadership.
