His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, received a cable of congratulations from Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, on the occasion of Bahrain Youth Day on March 25.

The minister said that this national occasion embodied HM the King’s support for Bahraini youth and belief in their pivotal role in the kingdom’s comprehensive development process.

She added that the national occasion also reflected the support of the Government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, of the youth sector.

Tawfiqi emphasised the continuous follow up and contributions of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), and His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of SCYS, Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), to the development of youth talents and competencies in various domains.

The minister noted that this national occasion was an opportunity to highlight the efforts of Bahraini youth and their role and contributions to the comprehensive development process.
