HM King receives heads of diplomatic missions

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today received, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, HH Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM King’s Personal Representative, HH Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Special Representative, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, the heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Bahrain, at the Al Sakhir Palace today.

 

The ambassadors extended congratulations and good wishes to HM the King on the holy month of Ramadhan, wishing HM the King abundant health, happiness, and long life, as well as further progress and development to Bahrain and its people.

 

They hailed HM the King’s effort to further strengthen Bahrain’s relations and expand cooperation and fruitful joint action with their countries to achieve common goals and aspirations.

 

HM King Hamad welcomed the ambassadors of brotherly and friendly countries and exchanged greetings with them on this blessed occasion, lauding strong historic relations binding Bahrain with their countries.

 

His Majesty expressed thanks to the ambassadors for their efforts to further enhance cooperation between the kingdom and their countries to contribute to achieving common interests.

 

HM the King affirmed the keenness of Bahrain to build its relations with various countries according to the principle of mutual respect, stressing the kingdom’s keenness to extend bridges of cooperation, rapprochement, and dialogue among cultures and civilisations.

 

His Majesty noted the leading role of Bahrain in promoting coexistence, tolerance, and peace, emphasising its efforts to foster dialogue among religions and cultures.
