His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa returned to the Kingdom today following an official state visit to the People’s Republic of China, at the invitation His Excellency Mr. Xi Jinping, the President of China.

During the visit, His Majesty the King held official talks with HE the Chinese President, focusing on bilateral relations and cooperation, in addition to regional and international developments of common interest. His Majesty also participated in the opening session of the 10th Ministerial Meeting of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum.

His Majesty the King was received upon arrival by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

On Departure from Beijing, His Majesty the King was bid farewell by  Deng Li, the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of China;  Dr. Ghassan Sheikho, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the People’s Republic of China and members of the embassy.
