Bahrain welcomed the additional provisional precautionary measures issued by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) aimed at enhancing the entry of humanitarian, relief, and medical aid into the Gaza Strip, a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

The measures also focus on increasing the capacity and number of land crossing points while advocating for their extended operation in collaboration with the United Nations.

The statement urged the international community to fulfill its obligations of implementing crucial international resolutions for providing extensive humanitarian aid to Palestinians in Gaza, aiming to improve living conditions, protect civilians, and prevent forced displacement. It also underscored the importance of implementing the recent UN Security Council ceasefire resolution.
