His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, received a group of young entrepreneurs participating in the Beban Juniors program, produced by Hope Ventures, the investment arm of the Hope Fund, in the presence of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA) and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC).

Also present were Ayman bin Tawfiq Al Moayyed, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS); Fajer Saleh Al Pachachi, Hope Fund General Manager; and Khaled AlRayyes, Director of Project Management and Marketing at Hope Fund.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad welcomed a group of 22 young entrepreneurs, aged between six and 17, commending their diverse aspirations in sectors ranging from food to fashion, technology, and sustainability. He also highlighted their remarkable achievements.

During the reception, each young entrepreneur had the opportunity to present their entrepreneurial project idea and share the inspiration behind it, along with their journey through the Beban Juniors program. They presented their projects to a committee of judges for strategic opportunities and guidance. The program also offered them a chance for reward-based collective financing through the platform “beban.me,” allowing them to validate their project ideas in the market and secure funding from their networks.

In his address to the young entrepreneurs, HH Shaikh Nasser expressed his belief in their capabilities and affirmed his support for their endeavours. He stressed the importance of nurturing their passion for learning and curiosity, which is essential for fostering the entrepreneurial spirit among youth. He also admired their dedication and encouraged them to continue pursuing their aspirations.

During the reception, Ayman Al Moayyed, the Secretary General of SCYS, underscored the crucial role of providing guidance, resources, and opportunities to support the exceptional capabilities of Bahraini youth.
